Successful campaign surpasses $1 million for the Foundation.
Lindenwood Christian Church members have stepped up and answered the call of the church’s Foundation.
The Lindenwood Church Foundation suffered a “perfect storm” in recent years. Normal wear and tear of our buildings has mounted over time and badly-needed repairs must be made. An ice storm a few years ago caused additional damage to the church’s gutters and roof. And from 2011 to 2013, as the congregation went through a difficult transition in leadership, the Foundation stepped in to pay bills and debts to keep the doors open and the church’s Christian witness alive.
Now, thanks to more than $1 million raised, including through vital Legacy gifts, many of the repairs have been made and more are under way.
These funds replenishing the coffers have made it possible for the Foundation to stay true to its main purpose and to ensure a strong future for Lindenwood.
