The 8:45 service in the H. T. Wood Chapel has a faithful following. It is the smallest worship service in terms of attendance, but it is full of spirit, life and faith.
The service is shorter than our other services – about 45 minutes, but no one likes to get away in a hurry after the benediction. The library is the perfect place to catch up with friends you haven’t seen all week and to have a cup of coffee before going to a Sunday School class.
The feeling is informal. The minister or ministers won’t be dressed in robes or vestments. And although we don’t have a full choir, we might have a solo, or quartet, or the Chorale, or a Children’s or Youth Choir sing. The music is always amazing and the congregational hymns include many of your old favorites.
