Geoff Mitchell

As the Senior Minister of Lindenwood, Geoff loves leading this inclusive community of faith. His goal is to help help people discover a life that does more than leave them exhausted and disillusioned. He has called Memphis home since March of 2019.

A native of Kentucky, Geoff grew up on the Mississippi River in Keokuk, Iowa. He spent 13 years in Texas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Master of Divinity from Texas Christian University. He is currently working on his dissertation to complete to his Doctor of Ministry.  He has served churches in Fort Worth, Texas and Keokuk, Iowa. He has also started two new congregations, in Aledo, Texas and suburban Chicago. He follows the TCU Horned Frogs with the devotion of a monk.

Geoff officiates High School Football and Baseball because he finds it relaxing to be yelled at by coaches and parents. He is on a lifelong journey to find the perfect coleslaw and is the last Lyndon Johnson defender left on earth. His musical tastes extend from the greater works of Robert Earl Keen to the lesser works of Robert Earl Keen.
